Job Title: Oracle Fusion ERP Lead / Business–Systems Liaison

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contract

 

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Finance professional to step into a critical, highly visible role supporting an in-flight ERP implementation. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the systems implementation team, helping translate real-world operational needs into executable system design and decisions.

 

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with no direct reports. The engagement is expected to run approximately 12 months, with the first 5-6 months focused on implementation completion, followed by post-go-live support and stabilization.

 

Your role:

·     Serve as the primary translator between business leaders and the ERP implementer

·     Support an Oracle Fusion ERP implementation across: Finance, HR (largely complete), and Payroll (nearing completion)

·     Bring deep functional understanding to help resolve: Data quality issues; Incomplete or underdeveloped reporting; and Gaps between business expectations and system capabilities

·     Provide guidance on “needs vs. wants” to keep the implementation grounded and executable

·     Leverage prior experience migrating from or supporting JD Edwards (JDE) environments

·     Act as a steady, knowledgeable presence as the organization approaches go-live and post-launch support

·     Partner closely with the external implementation firm while advocating for internal business requirements

 

What you’ve got:

·     Deep hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, preferably leading or heavily supporting implementations

·     Prior experience with JD Edwards (JDE) strongly preferred

·     Strong understanding of finance and payroll systems in operational environments

·     Experience improving or stabilizing data quality and reporting

·     Ability to confidently guide business stakeholders through system tradeoffs

·     Experience in casino, hospitality, retail, or multi-location operational environments is a strong plus

·     Comfortable operating independently without a team

·     Calm, structured communicator who reduces implementation stress rather than adding to it
